Postcards Giveaway and Collaborative post invitation

Giveaway

Those of you who have been following my blog know that I don’t miss a chance to praise Bulgaria. I have written many posts about my home country in order to share its beauty, charm and to make it your next destination.

Now I’m making another effort to show you how beautiful Bulgaria is. I’m giving away 3 postcards to three of you who give me the best answer to a question that you’ll find at the end of the post.

First, these are some articles I wrote on Travelling Buzz describing the beautiful side of Bulgaria. Feel free to check them out if you find them interesting.

  • Bulgaria Travel Guide: Everything you need to know – this one is not exactly a travel guide but it consists of the basic information about the country you need to know before you visit – places to see, free tours, sea resorts, foods to try, traditions, etc.
  • 5 Reasons to visit Bulgaria in winter – one of my favourite articles about the beauty of Bulgaira during the cold months. See some amazing views, ski in Bansko or experience Christmas traditions – find out what will work best for you.
  • A quick photo walk in Sofia, Bulgaria – here are some pictures of the capital. The post does not contain everything you will see in Sofia but a few basic buildings and places that will catch your eye will work.
  • Top 3 cultural destinations in Bulgaria – Check out some photos of Tryavna, Nessebar and Plovdiv.

  • A picturesque walk in Teteven with a detour to the Jumping waterfalls – Teteven is a town, small one I would say, where people don’t worry about being late cuz they have to travel an hour or two to get to the other side of the town, where kids play freely in the streets, where the landscape is like stolen from a famous artists’ painting, where everywhere you turn you see the majestic mountain.

It’s not necessary but I will appreciate your support by giving me a follow on Twitter, G+ or Pitnerest and a like on Facebook or just subscribe below (at the end of the post). The giveaway deadline is: 20 January.

Announcement: I’m doing another collaborative post about Perfect Weekend Getaways in Europe. If you want to be featured:

  • Send me a destination in Europe – a city, a region or a country, and 5 to 10 sentences explaining why do you think it is perfect for a Weekend Getaway.
  • I will appreciate if you send me a photo of the place.
  • Don’t forget to mention your name and where do you blog so I can put a link to it. If I receive more than 10 submission the article will go live in 2 parts.
  • I’m waiting for your submission on [email protected] or in Facebook. Deadline: 15 January. Check out some previous collaborative posts I made about Selfies and Food

The question for the giveaway: If you haven’t would you visit Bulgaria and why?

Comment below in order to quilify for receiving a cute postcard and subscribe to get email when the collaborative post is up!

  • I’ve never been to Bulgaria, but would love to see and visit. I love Europe, and have gotten as far as Hungary. I love the countries, the culture, food , etc. Bulgaria is tops on my list!

  • I would love to visit Bulgaria one day. I studied Western European History in University, and I haven’t quite explored the treasures of the east. I hear about Bulgaria every now and then, and I am ashamed to say that I don’t know anything about it! For that reason, I would love to visit Bulgaria one day. I’ve an open mind and I’m eager for any adventure!

  • I don’t think there’s any one specific reason why we would want to visit Bulgaria. It could be for any of the Spa resorts, the Bulgarian cuisine or simply because you offered to take us around when we’re there 🙂 We would definitely want to visit once though.

  • Bulgaria has a lot of natural beauty which is left rather undiscovered. I like visiting off the tourist map kind of places and try foods that are totally alien to my taste buds.

Besides, having a great travel blogger friend in the capital city is quite a motivation too.

  • We’d love to visit Bulgaria mainly because of your blog!! You’ve taught us so much about the yummy food, the culture and the history. We’d also love to go because it has a sea coast and it can get hotttt!!!
