For one whole week Sofia will become the tastiest place in Bulgaria!
Sofia Restaurant Week is a festival celebrating the diversity of Sofia’s restaurants. The event is returning on 7-13 May 2017 with 25 new restaurants. All of them are offering a set menus for fixed price of 25 Leva (~13 Euro). During this week, you will be able to have a lunch or a dinner in a specially chosen restaurants with diverse cuisine and top quality service.
You see, every time I go out with friends, there’s this new place we go to eat or have a drink. I think there are at least a thousand more I haven’t visited. That’s why I am really excited about Sofia Restaurant Week. I already made 3 bookings – for dinner at Soul Kitchen (which I wanted to visit for so long now), lunch at Social Cafe and at Wagamama.
The price of all menus is fixed: only 25 Leva for a 3 course meal. The restaurants have prepared 2 menus for the festival, many of them offer vegetarian options. The meals include a salad, starter or soup, a main dish and a dessert.
The price does not include drinks and tips. All drinks and bread will normally be charged extra, as will any food you order from the restaurant’s regular menu. Where bread or drinks are included in the price this is indicated in the special menu published on the website.
The Restaurants

25 restaurant are participating in the second edition of Sofia Restaurant Week. Two of them are offering a choice of two locations, making 27 locations in all.
You have to make a booking in advance for your desired date between 7th and 13th of May in order to save a place in the chosen restaurant. Bookings are already open so you can save your seat on the pages of each restaurant.
Making a reservation is really easy. Check out the restaurant and their menus, click on the Book Now button on the right sidebar of each restaurant page and choose your date and hour of visit. Then you’ll receive a booking confirmation by email. And you’re ready to enjoy your lunch or dinner during the festival. And who knows? Maybe we’ll meet for a lunch in Sofia…
